Our Team
Kukul Tales is made up of a passionate group of people who love gastronomy, culture, and responsible tourism. We work closely with local chefs, cultural guides, and Mayan communities to create personalized experiences where hospitality and learning come together around the table.

Our Philosophy
Every experience we design is created to honor Guatemala’s cultural identity and support the people who keep it alive: farmers, traditional cooks, artisans, and local families.
At Kukul Tales, we blend a deep passion for food with respect for the land and the people who cultivate it. Our goal is for each visitor to take home more than a recipe a genuine connection to the history, culture, and soul of Guatemala.
This is us
Founded in Guatemala in 2018, Kukul Tales offers carefully curated and personalized culinary experiences designed to create genuine connections between local communities and travelers. Our mission is to reveal the rich gastronomic culture of Antigua Guatemala in an intimate, meaningful, and authentic way.
For Rebeca, founder of Kukul Tales, a lifelong fascination with local flavors—nurtured by cooking alongside her grandmothers—sparked the creation of this project. Her work is rooted in deep research into the historical and culinary foundations of Guatemalan cuisine, guided by a strong commitment to honoring and celebrating the invaluable knowledge of traditional cooks and the communities that have shaped this unique culinary heritage.
Our experiences are enriched through collaborations with Guatemalan cooks, producers, families, artisans, and cultural leaders, all of whom promote culture in an ethical and respectful way.
